The Sturmgeschütz III was the most-produced German fully tracked vehicle of World War II.
Approximately 8,423 Ausf. G (Sd.Kfz. 142/1) vehicles were built from December 1942 to April 1945.
This series was by far the most frequently used version of the StuG III family.
