Le SMK était un prototype de véhicule blindé développé par l'Union soviétique avant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il fut baptisé du nom de Sergueï Mironovitch Kirov, un responsable du Parti communiste assassiné en 1934.

Le SMK fut découvert et classé par les services de renseignement allemands sous la désignation T-35C, ce qui a engendré la confusion quant à la participation du T-35 à la guerre russo-finlandaise.

 The SMK was an armored vehicle prototype developed by the Soviet Union prior to the Second World War. It was named after Sergei Mironovich Kirov, a Communist Party official assassinated in 1934.   

The SMK was discovered and classified by German intelligence as the T-35C, this has led to the misunderstanding that the T-35 took part in the Russio-Finnish war.
