This included not only supplies for the army and soldiers, but also prisoners of war, making the G10 the most famous yet the most notorious railway wagons.

Les wagons de marchandises G10 ont constitué l'épine dorsale du parc ferroviaire allemand pendant et après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, servant au transport de marchandises et de personnes à travers l'Europe.
