The Type SSys four-axle railway flatbed car was used by the Germans for transporting vehicles and supplies of up to 50 tonnes during World War II.

It could therefore carry most of the light and medium tanks and self-propelled guns of the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS, including the Panzer I, II, III and IV, Panther, Jagdpanther, StuG III and IV, Nashorn, Wespe, Hummel, Sturmpanzer and many others. Only the heavy tanks such as the Tiger I and II and their derivatives required using heavier six-axle railway cars.

Le wagon plat ferroviaire à quatre essieux de type SSys était utilisé par les Allemands pour le transport de véhicules et de ravitaillement jusqu'à 50 tonnes pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

Il pouvait ainsi transporter la plupart des chars légers et moyens ainsi que les canons automoteurs de la Wehrmacht et de la Waffen SS, notamment les Panzer I, II, III et IV, Panther, Jagdpanther, StuG III et IV, Nashorn, Wespe, Hummel, Sturmpanzer et bien d'autres. Seuls les chars lourds tels que les Tiger I et II et leurs dérivés nécessitaient des wagons ferroviaires plus robustes à six essieux.
